Explanations
Electric heating
If the heater is only heated electrically, i.e. only a heating rod is used, a 1/2" radiator plug must be purchased additionaly. This serves to plug the other hole in the heater which would otherwise be used for the central heating connection valve. We recommend filling the heater with distilled water. It is also recommended to pour in the LIKIDO antifreeze and anti-corrosive heat transfer fluid.
It is necessary to use a heating rod with the same or similar performance according to the specification of the radiator. For heating rods with a thermostat, the temperature of the liquid in the heater is controlled.
Series description
Totally unobtrusive radiator in the shape of a massive towel holder. A design and practical addition to your bathroom. This radiator can be supplied in other color versions, see the complete Ridea catalog.
Electrical heating
Advantages of aluminum radiators compared to steel, cast iron radiators and underfloor heating.
SMALL WATER QUANTITIES
Aluminum radiators need significantly less water to achieve the same heat output than steel and cast iron radiators. The same heat output is achieved in shorter time, even when using less power boilers.
SAVING TIME TO HEAT
Aluminum is the ideal heat transfer material. This property makes it a great material for the production of radiators.
SMALL AREA
Due to its physical and mechanical properties, various shapes and interesting surfaces can be produced. This property is used to save space. The same thermal parameters can be achieved with smaller dimensions than those achieved with steel or cast iron radiators.
WEIGHT REDUCTION
The biggest advantage of aluminum, which has made it one of the most widely used materials in various industries, is undoubtedly its weight. The concept of light alloys is very often associated with aluminum, which is about 3 times lower than the weight of steel. The properties of aluminum allow room heating with extremely light radiators, the radiator is better handled and its installation becomes much easier.
BETTER TEMPERATURE FLEXIBILITY
Aluminum allows for a lower weight, less water and faster temperature changes in the space heating. The flexibility, which only aluminum offers, will satisfy all the requirements for maximum comfort.
REDUCTION OF COSTS UP TO 20% OF FLOOR HEATING
Long-term studies have shown that when aluminum radiators are used, there is much greater economic savings than under floor heating.
SAVE TIME FOR HEATING
The underfloor heating system is much more difficult to adapt to the ambient temperature in which it is installed. Heat is transferred to the floor structure first, and then the heat spreads to the space of the heated room. Even this parameter proves that aluminum radiators are an ideal combination of comfort and energy savings.
EFFECTS IN THE ENVIRONMENT
Of 200 pieces of recycled aluminum cans, a design radiator can be produced.
Aluminum can be recycled indefinitely. The production of aluminum from aluminum waste brings up to 95% energy savings compared to primary aluminum production.
