Explanations
Central heating
In the case of central heating, the selection of the connection valves is very important. You can choose between using a manual valve or a valve with a thermostatic head.
Manual valve: the valve control head can be installed on the left/right side regardless of the hot water supply location. The temperatur eis controlled manually.
A valve with a thermostatic head: the integrated thermostat maintains the temperature inside the towel rail. The thermostatic head must be located at the hot water inlet (except MONO ONE).
The connection valves we offer are supplied with a clamping fitting for the most common pipes (Ø15 mm for copper and Ø16 mm for Alupex), so there is no need to buy anything else for the connection. For covering the inlet pipes and holes in the wall, we recommend the addition of cover rosettes.
Description
Manual valve set without thermostatic head suitable for all retro-style radiators with G1 / 2 “female thread, with chrome finish. The valves are fitted with O-ring seals for reliable and quick installation. The set is not suitable for combination with an electric heater. Allows connection of the supply to the left or right side.
One of the valves acts as a manually operated valve. To disconnect the radiator, the second valve (return) must be closed. To close the valve, it is necessary to remove the white plug on the actuator, under which close the valve with a screwdriver (mechanical plug).
ATTENTION!
When ordering the set, it is necessary to order a compression fitting (not included), see accessories.
The non-return valve is hidden under the decorative cover. It is closed with a hexagonal key. It does not serve to regulate the temperature, only to close the pipes, eg in the case of dismantling the radiator, without the need to drain the heating medium.
